“I was born and raised in what is now a poverty-stricken community that continues to suffer from the loss of heavy industry and restructuring of railroads.”

What a response!!! Versus… Anytown, USA

It’s not just any town, it once was extremely vibrant, it’s now a relic of what it was!.

It seems we have a few things in common. Born in 1965. A son who is 27 (mine is 28) and older siblings who I did not necessarily grow up with. We became closer when I was in high school.

Yes, we do - and because I read your substack I know we also have navigating adult children, navigating figuring out who we are now, and It's taken my older siblings significantly longer to get it together.....

C. Elyse, I really enjoyed this peek at the person behind the pen! You are so good at giving tantalizing autobiographical tidbits while keeping some mystery intact. And Tim, great interview format. Love not only your questions but the entire three-day response concept.

Thank you, but all credit goes to Tim!!!
